About Us

We're Imagination Street, a premier indoor playground in Ankeny, Iowa. Since 2023, our focus has been on building an amazing atmosphere for kids to have fun and let loose. Our uniquely designed play space features a "main street" concept that will be sure to inspire your child to be creative and use their imagination for hours of play. We offer open play as well as play parties, private events, field trips, and more! We've spared no expense in designing this space for children to enjoy, right down to the very last accessory, and our team is passionate about providing the best experience for your little one. We had the best time at Imagination Street today! While the play time was great, the customer service was the most exceptional part of our visit. My toddler had an unfortunate potty accident and we had no spare clothes with us. We live about 30 minutes away, so by the time we would have made it home and back our playtime would have been over. The owner actually went home and got us some spare clothes so we could finish off our visit! I was so thankful for her kindness, and willingness to help a mom out during an unfortunate circumstance. My kids also loved the snack tokens. Thanks for a great visit— we will definitely be back.

We visited for the first time this morning and had such a great experience! The play area is adorable and kept my girls (7 and 3) busy for the entire 2 hour block we reserved. Everything was incredibly clean, staff were very friendly. I appreciated that they let us have our space, but were there if we needed them (we have visited the other play place in Des Moines and felt like they watched and hovered over our every move). They have a snack area and also give out tokens for one free snack during your visit. My sister and I were able to sit at the bar stools just outside the play area and have our coffee, but were able to keep an eye on the kids. We will be back! Thanks for a great morning!

The place ended up being smaller than I initially thought based on pictures, so I was surprised that my kids were able to have fun and not complain of being bored. I really didn’t think we would be there for our whole 2 hour time slot but we did! I have 3 kids, 6, 4, and 2, and there was enough for each of them to do that they enjoyed every minute. It’s nice that there is some seating for the parents, and some tables set up if you need a snack break. If you need something to do and the weather isn’t great outside, this is a great option!
